1、 Introduction to Taiwan NCC Certification

NCC stands for National Communications Commission in Taiwan, which mainly controls communication and information equipment circulating and used in the Taiwanese market

1. LPE: Low Power Equipment refers to low-power devices (such as Bluetooth and WIFI devices);   

2. TTE: Telecommunications Terminal Equipment refers to communication terminal devices (such as mobile phones and tablets).   

2、 NCC certified product scope:

1. Low power RF motors with operating frequencies ranging from 9kHz to 300GHz, such as wireless network (WLAN) products (including IEEE 802.11a/b/g) UNII、 Blue bud products RFID、ZigBee 、 Wireless keyboard, wireless mouse, wireless headphone microphone, wireless walkie talkie, wireless remote control toys, various wireless remote controls, various wireless anti-theft devices, etc.   2.  Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) products, such as wired telephones (including VOIP network telephones), automatic alarm devices, answering machines, fax machines, remote control devices, wired telephone wireless primary and secondary machines, key telephone systems, data equipment (including ADSL equipment), incoming call display terminal equipment, 2.4GHz RF telecommunications terminal equipment, etc.       

3. Land mobile communication network equipment (PLMN) products, such as wireless broadband access mobile station equipment (WiMAX mobile terminal equipment) GSM 900/DCS 1800 mobile phones and terminal equipment (2G mobile phones), third-generation mobile communication terminal equipment (3G mobile phones), etc.   

3、 Explanation of NCC Logo Proportion

NCC logo production method:

1. It should be labeled or printed on the position of the equipment body in an appropriate proportion, with no maximum/minimum size regulations, and clarity should be the principle.       

2. This NCC logo, along with the verification number, should be affixed to the product in accordance with regulations. Its frequency and color should be single and clear, making it easy to identify.       

Example of making qualified inspection labels

In order to meet the needs of Taiwan's trade facilitation and customs clearance, the revised certification label format for telecommunications controlled RF equipment and telecommunications terminal equipment will be as follows starting from January 1, 1995: For low-power RF motors and wireless telecommunications terminal equipment that obtained certification numbers before December 31, 1994, if the certification numbers need to be converted to the 1995 new coding method (customs clearance code)

4、 NCC certification process

1. The client provides product information to the institution for evaluation and quotation

2. The client confirms the signed quotation, fills out the application form, provides samples and materials, arranges payment (first payment), and the institution opens the case

3. Arrange product forecasting and review materials

4. If there are problems with the testing and data, arrange for rectification and retesting until they are qualified

5. After the testing and data are qualified, the issuing agency conducts witness testing

6. After the witness test is completed, the issuing agency issues a test report and issues a certificate

7. The client shall pay the full amount (final payment), obtain the certificate report, and close the case
